The course is designed to provide students with the practical and applied knowledge and skills required to manage the organizational development function in the workplace. The programme is intended to en¬able trainees apply learned theories both as salaried and self employed individuals both in Kenya and the region. To achieve this, units such as entrepreneur¬ship, business communication, life skills, French, information and communication technology have been included. Programme Objectives The general objectives of the technical training programmes are to: a) demonstrate an understanding of the basics of organization dimensions, concepts, culture and health; b) apply human resource principles; c) apply the principles of management in an organization’s setting; d) demonstrate an understanding of labour laws and labour relations; e) undertake selling and marketing of organisation’s products.
