The course is intended to equip the trainee with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable him/her to perform duties in the micro finance sector in Kenya and the Region. A graduate of this course will be able to work in a salaried or self-employment. To achieve this, units such as entrepreneurship, business communication, life skills, French, information and communication technology have been included. Programme Objectives The general objectives of the technical training programmes are to: a) formulate objectives of microfinance institutions; b) prepare management and regulatory reports; c) demonstrate understanding in microfinance operations; d) implement an outreach programme for microfinance institutions; e) formulate policies and develop procedures for microfinance institutions.
