Preamble
This is a unique multilingual regional programme designed for ease of delivery and developed in a manner that should allow participants to pursue higher degrees in a number of universities. Developed in collaboration with and validated by Kenya Institute of Education (KIE), the programme is driven by state of the art technology by professional teaching staff. One of its key features is its mandatory internship driven research project. Its key features include mandatory french course unit, well designed internship driven research project and  integrated professional course assuring participants of exemptions in equivalent units taken among others. This programme allows participants  to take six preferred areas differentiated by independent options course units. The options are Islamic Financial Services,  Banking and Financial Services, Microfinance, Organizational Development, Business Information Technology and Finance.   

Entry Requirements
A trainee entering this course should have any of the following minimum requirements:
a) Have attained a minimum of C in KCSE or Division II in O-Level or its equivalents with a C in Mathematics and English, OR
b) Have attained at least a pass in a recognized certificate course taken over a period of at least 9 months.

Exemption Policy
a) CPA1/Certificate in Banking and Financial services or equivalent shall have a credit transfer of up to a maximum of six (6) equivalent units.
b) CPAII/AKIB/IMIS Diploma or equivalent shall have a credit transfer of up to a maximum of eight (8) equivalent units.
c) CPA K/ACCA/IMIS Higher Diploma or equivalent shall have a credit transfer of up to a maximum of ten (10) equivalent units 

Mode of Delivery & Course Duration
Full Time: 5 – three months semester or 15 months with the first four semesters dedicated to course work and the fifth to Internship programme/Research Project

Target Audience:
The target audience for this programme includes individuals who wish to work or are already working in the Banking, Financial, NGOs and related sectors, both private and public. It is also appropriate for those wishing to pursue related degrees from universities recognizing such programmes.
